Carroll County Board of Elections Announces their “I Voted” Sticker Contest

The Carroll County Board of Elections encourages school-aged students to participate in the “I Voted” Sticker Contest to involve them in the election process and show their creativity.

The Carroll County Board of Elections, Maryland, is pleased to announce a new initiative to get students involved in the election process. The Board is sponsoring an “I Voted” Sticker Contest.

To be eligible to enter the contest, you must be:

1. A resident of Carroll County, Maryland; and

2. Currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade (or the equivalent for home-schooled students) in Carroll County, Maryland.

The contest will begin on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. To enter, students must submit their hand-drawn or digitally created design and the Submission Release Form to the Carroll County Board of Elections at [email protected] or by mailing a physical copy to PO Box 3191, Westminster, MD 21158. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2023. There is no entry fee for students to participate in the contest.

Three designs from each of the elementary school, middle school, and high school categories will be selected as finalists around December 13, 2023. The public will vote for their favorite design from the selected finalists. Public voting will begin on January 3, 2024, and end on January 19, 2024. The winners will be announced on January 25, 2024. Voters who cast a ballot in person during the 2024 Presidential Elections will get one of the three “I Voted” stickers.
