Who Can Enter?

The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Florida who are over the age of 18 and have children or grandchildren from newborn through 8th grade. To be eligible, entrants must fully complete the scholarship entry requirements and comply with all official rules. Employees of the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, Florida Prepaid College Board, and associated entities are not eligible to participate.

• Start Date: May 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET)

How to Enter

Participating in the sweepstakes is easy. Follow these steps to enter:

1. Online Entry:

   1. Visit the Florida Prepaid College Board website.

   2. Click on the sweepstakes banners, buttons, or links to access the online entry form.

   3. Complete the form with all required information, including a valid email address and daytime telephone number.

2. Entry Requirements:

   1. Ensure you have children or grandchildren from newborn through 8th grade.

   2. Submit a Florida 529 Savings Plan application for one child from the eligible age group.

Prize Details

Ten (10) grand prize winners will each receive:

• $1,000 Florida 529 Savings Plan Scholarship: Helps cover qualified higher education expenses at an eligible institution.

• Florida State Parks Junior Ranger Gift Pack: Includes an inflatable standup paddleboard, hammock, backpack, hats, lanterns, and stickers.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected through a random drawing conducted on June 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The drawing will take place at The Moore Agency offices in Tallahassee, FL. Winners will be notified by email and phone by July 17, 2024. If a prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if the winner cannot be reached within 72 hours, an alternate winner may be selected.

Eligibility and Conditions

• Entrants must be legal residents of Florida and have been residents for at least 12 months prior to winning.

• Only one entry per person is allowed.

• All taxes and other costs associated with the prizes are the responsibility of the winners.

• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Privacy and Data Use

All personal information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with the Florida Prepaid College Board Privacy Policy. By entering the sweepstakes, participants agree to the collection and use of their personal information as described in the privacy policy.

Disputes and Governing Law

All disputes related to the sweepstakes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. By participating, entrants agree to the official rules and decisions of the sponsor and administrator.
