Who Can Enter?
The giveaway is open to legal residents of Alabama who are at least 19 years old and are parents, grandparents, or legal guardians of children born between May 29, 2023, and May 29, 2024. Employees and staff of Union Bank & Trust Company, the State of Alabama Treasury – CollegeCounts, and their affiliates, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate.

End Date: July 15, 2024, at 11:59 PM CT
How to Enter
Entering the giveaway is simple and can be done online. Follow these steps:

Fill out the entry form with all required information, including your name, contact details, and the eligible child’s birthdate.
Submit the form to receive one (1) entry into the giveaway.
You are allowed one (1) entry per eligible child. Ensure all information is accurate and complete. Incomplete or non-compliant entries will be void.
Prize Details
Twenty-nine (29) grand prizes will be awarded, each consisting of:
$529 Contribution: A $529 contribution to a CollegeCounts 529 Fund account where the eligible child is named as the designated beneficiary.
The approximate retail value (ARV) of each grand prize is $529.00, and the total prize value for all grand prizes is $15,341.00. Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, and no cash redemption or substitution is allowed except at the sponsor's discretion.
Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted after the promotion period ends. The drawing will be held on or around July 31, 2024. Winners will be notified via the contact information provided on the entry form. If a winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the third contact attempt, or does not set up a CollegeCounts 529 Fund account within twenty-one (21) days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
Important Information
Eligibility Verification: Winners must provide proof of eligibility, including a government-issued birth certificate or commemorative birth certificate issued by the birthing hospital, to confirm the child’s birthdate.
Taxes: Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes incurred by the acceptance of the prize.
Publicity Rights: By entering, participants grant the sponsor permission to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
Privacy and Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to the collection and use of their personal information as described in the sponsor’s Privacy Policy. The sponsor and its affiliates are not responsible for any technical malfunctions or other issues that may affect the entry process.
